Alicante is a genetic match with Garnacha of Spain (Grenache in France and many other countries), as are Cannonau, Tai Rosso, and Vernaccia Nera, but all of them have developed in relative isolation for centuries. Light in color. Aromas & flavors: Floral, herbal.
