WHITE WINES
- Bianco (Wh): Minimum 85% Malvasia Bianca di Basilicata + OANWG
- Greco (Wh): Minimum 85% Greco + OANWG
ROSATO WINES
- Rosato (Ro): Minimum 90% Primitivo + OARG
RED WINES
- Rosso (Rd): Minimum 60% Sangiovese; minimum 30% Primitivo; maximum 10% OANRG
- Moro (Rd): Minimum 60% Cabernet Sauvignon; minimum 20% Primitivo; minimum 10% Merlot; maximum 10% OANRG
- Primitivo (Rd): Minimum 90% Primitivo + OANRG
- Riserva (Moro)

- Spumante (WhSp): Minimum 85% Malvasia + OANWG

Significant Production Rules
- Spumante wines must undergo second fermentation in bottles (Metodo Classico)
- Minimum alcohol level: 11.0% for Bianco and Greco; 12.0% for Rosato, Rosso, Moro, and Spumante Rosé; 12.0% for Bianco Passito (13.0% potential); 12.5% for Spumante; 13.0% for Primitivo and Riserva; 13.0% for Primitivo Passito (14.5% potential)
- Residual sugar: Maximum 14 g/l (1.4%) for Primitivo
- Aging: For Rosso, Moro, and Primitivo, minimum 12 months (ERD = November 1, V+1); for Riserva, minimum 36 months, including 24 months in barrel (ERD = November 1, V+3)
