Bovale

Two distinct grape varieties: Bovale Grande and Bovale Sardo. Bovale Grande is similar or identical to Carignano, Bovale Sardo to Spain’s Graciano. Sardo is considered the better of the two. Highly tannic and acidic; can produce deeply colored wines.
