Pignoletto
A well-established grape variety in Emilia-Romagna that relatively recently was found to be identical to Grechetto di Todi, a minor variety of Umbria (unrelated to the more common Grechetto di Orvieto aka Grechetto Bianco). Light bodied; high in acidity. Best DOP: Colli Bolognesi Pignoletto. Aromas & flavors: Lemon, white flowers, chamomile, lime, yellow apple, anise.
