- Rosato (Ro): Minimum 50% Merlot; minimum 20% Cabernet Sauvignon; minimum 10% Malvasia Nera di Basilicata; maximum 20% OANRG
RED WINES
- Rosso (Rd): Minimum 50% Merlot; minimum 30% Cabernet Sauvignon; maximum 20% OARG
- Riserva (Rosso)
Significant Production Rules
- Maximum vineyard elevation: 800 m (2,625 ft)
- Minimum alcohol level: 11.5% for Rosato; 12.0% for Rosso; 12.5% for Riserva
- Aging: For Rosato, minimum approx. 4 months (ERD = March 1, V+1); for Rosso, minimum 12 months (ERD = November 1, V+1); for Riserva, minimum 24 months, including 6 months in barrel (ERD = November 1, V+4)
