WHITE WINES
- Bianco (Wh): 30–50% Greco, Guardavalle (locally Uva Greca), and/or Montonico Bianco; 30–50% Ansonica and/or Malvasia; maximum 30% OAWG
ROSATO WINES
- Rosato (Ro): 30–50% Gaglioppo and/or Greco Nero; 30–50% Castiglione, Nero d’Avola (aka Calabrese), and/or Nocera; maximum 15% OAWG; maximum 10% OARG
RED WINES
- Rosso (Rd): 30–50% Gaglioppo and/or Greco Nero; 30–50% Castiglione, Nero d’Avola, and/or Nocera; maximum 15% OAWG; maximum 10% OARG
- Novello (Rosso)
- Riserva (Rosso)
Significant Production Rules
- Maximum vineyard elevation: 800 m (2,625 ft)
- Minimum alcohol level: 10.5% for Bianco; 11.5% for Rosato; 12.0% for Rosso and Novello; 12.5% for Riserva
- Residual sugar: Maximum 10 g/l (1.0%) for Novello
- Aging: For Bianco, Rosato, and Rosso, minimum approx. 2–3 months (ERD = January 1, V+1); for Riserva, minimum 2 years (ERD = November 1, V+2)
