WHITE WINES
- Bianco (Wh): Minimum 60% Catarratto; maximum 40% Ansonica (locally Inzolia)
ROSATO WINES
- Rosato (Ro): Minimum 60% Perricone; maximum 40% Nero d’Avola
- Syrah (Rd): Minimum 85% Syrah + OARG
RED WINES
- Rosso (Rd): Minimum 60% Perricone; maximum 40% Nero d’Avola
- Syrah (Rd): Minimum 85% Syrah + OARG
- Riserva (Rosso, Syrah)
Significant Production Rules
- Minimum alcohol level: 11.0% for Bianco, Rosato, and Syrah Rosato; 12.0% for non-riserva Rosso and non-riserva Syrah; 12.5% for Riserva
- Aging: For Riserva, minimum 2 years (ERD = November 1, V+2)
