- Rosato (Ro): Any proportions of red grape varieties approved for the production area
- Varietals (Ro): Minimum 85% of any one of the allowed red grape varieties + OANRG
- Novello (Rosato, rosato varietals)
RED WINES
- Rosso (Rd): Any proportions of red grape varieties approved for the production area
- Varietals (Rd): Minimum 85% any one of the allowed red grape varieties + OANRG
- Novello (Rosso, red varietals)
Significant Production Rules
- Zone of production: Communes of Bagnara Calabra, Palmi, Scilla, and Seminara in the province of Reggio Calabria
- Minimum alcohol level: 11.0% for Bianco and Rosato; 11.5% for Rosato Novello; 12.0% for Rosso and Rosso Novello
