- Rosso (Rd, RdFr): Minimum 85% Barbera; maximum 15% Dolcetto, Freisa, and/or Grignolino
Significant Production Rules
- Maximum vineyard elevation: 650 m (2,130 ft)
- Minimum alcohol level: 11.5% for Rosso; 12.0% if a vineyard is named
- Aging: No minimum specified
