WHITE WINES
  • Bianco (Wh, WhFr, WhFrSw): Minimum 50% Garganega + OAWG
  • Chardonnay (Wh, WhFr): Minimum 85% Chardonnay + OAWG
  • Pinot Grigio (Wh): Minimum 85% Pinot Grigio + OAWG
ROSATO WINES
  • Rosato (Ro, RoFr, RoFrSw): Minimum 50% Merlot + OANRG
RED WINES
  • Rosso (Rd): Minimum 50% Merlot + OANRG
  • Nero (Rd): Minimum 50% Merlot + OANRG
  • Merlot (Rd): Minimum 85% Merlot + OARG
  • Riserva (Rosso, Merlot)
SPARKLING WINES
  • Spumante (WhSp, WhSpSw): Minimum 50% Garganega + OAWG
DESSERT AND SPECIALTY WINES
  • Passito (Wh, WhSw): Minimum 50% Garganega + OAWG

Significant Production Rules:
  • After harvest, grapes for Nero must be dried for a minimum of 30 days, and grapes for Passito must be dried for a minimum of 2 months
  • Minimum alcohol level: 10.5% for Bianco, Chardonnay frizzante, and Rosato; 11.0% for Chardonnay tranquillo, Pinot Grigio, Rosso, and Spumante; 11.5% for Merlot; 12.0% for Riserva; 12.5% potential for Vendemmia Tardiva; 13.5% for Nero; 14.5% potential for Passito
  • Residual sugar: Spumante can range from extra brut to dolce
  • Aging: For Nero and Passito, minimum approx. 1 year, including 3 months in barrel (ERD = November 1, V+1); for Riserva, minimum 2 years (ERD = November 1, V+2)
