- Rosso (Rd): Any proportions of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, and/or Syrah; maximum 15% OANRG
- Cabernet Franc (Rd): 100% Cabernet Franc
- Cabernet Sauvignon (Rd): 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
- Merlot (Rd): 100% Merlot
- Sangiovese (Rd): 100% Sangiovese
- Syrah (Rd): 100% Syrah
- Riserva (Rosso, varietals)
Significant Production Rules
- Minimum alcohol level: 12.5% for Rosso and varietals; 13.0% for Riserva
- Aging: For Rosso and varietals, minimum approx. 18 months (ERD = May 1, V+2); for Riserva, minimum approx. 30 months, including 12 months in barrel and 6 months in bottle (ERD = May 1, V+3)
