• Varietals (Wh, WhFr, WhSw, WhFrSw): Minimum 85% Chardonnay, Friulano (locally Tai), Malvasia Istriana, Manzoni Bianco, Marzemina Bianca, Moscato, Pinot Bianco, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, or Welschriesling + OAG
• Dual varietals (Wh, WhFr, WhSw, WhFrSw): 50–85% of first-named variety; 15–50% of other variety

ROSATO WINES

• Rosato (Ro, RoFr, RoSw, RoFrSw): Any proportions of grape varieties approved for the province of Padova
• Varietals (Ro, RoFr, RoSw, RoFrSw): Minimum 85% of any one of the allowed red grape varieties + OARG
• Dual varietals (Ro, RoFr, RoSw, RoFrSw): 50–85% of first-named variety; 15–50% of other variety

RED WINES

• Rosso (Rd, RdFr, RdSw, RdFrSw): Any proportions of grape varieties approved for the province of Padova
• Varietals (Rd, RdFr, RdSw, RdFrSw): Minimum 85% Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, Manzoni Moscato, Manzoni Rosa, Marzemino, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Raboso (Piave, Veronese), Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, or Syrah + OAG
• Cabernet (Rd, RdFr, RdSw, RdFrSw): Any proportions of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and/or Carmenère
• Dual varietals (Rd, RdFr, RdSw, RdFrSw): 50–85% of first-named variety; 15–50% of other variety
• Novello (Rosso, red varietals)

• Zone of production: Defined area in the province of Padova
• Minimum alcohol level: 9.0% for Bianco, white varietals, Rosato, and rosato varietals; 9.5% for Rosso and red varietals; 11.0% for Novello
