RED WINES

• Rosso (Rd, RdFr): Any proportions of red grape varieties approved for the production area
• Varietals (Rd, RdFr): Minimum 85% Aglianico, Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Piedirosso, Sangiovese, or Sciascinoso + OARG
• Novello (Rosso, red varietals)

DESSERT AND SPECIALTY WINES

• Bianco Passito (WhSw): Same as Bianco or white varietals
• Rosso Passito (RdSw): Any proportions of grape varieties approved for the region of Basilicata

• Zone of production: Entire province of Benevento
• Minimum alcohol level: 10.0% for Bianco and white varietals; 10.5% for Rosato, Rosso, and red varietals; 11.0% for Novello; 16.0% potential for Passito
• Aging: No minimums specified
