- Varietals (Wh, WhFr): Minimum 85% Chardonnay, Coda di Volpe, Falanghina, Fiano, Greco, or Malvasia Bianca di Candia + OAWG
- Moscato (Wh, WhFr, WhSw, WhFrSw): Minimum 85% Moscato Bianco + OAWG
ROSATO WINES
- Rosato (Ro, RoFr): Any proportions of red grape varieties approved for the production area
RED WINES
- Rosso (Rd, RdFr): Any proportions of red grape varieties approved for the production area
- Varietals (Rd, RdFr): Minimum 85% Aglianico, Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Piedirosso, Sangiovese, or Sciascinoso + OARG
- Novello (Rosso, red varietals)
DESSERT AND SPECIALTY WINES
- Bianco Passito (WhSw): Same as Bianco or white varietals
- Rosso Passito (RdSw): Any proportions of grape varieties approved for the region of Basilicata

- Minimum alcohol level: 10.0% for Bianco and white varietals; 10.5% for Rosato, Rosso, and red varietals; 11.0% for Novello; 16.0% potential for Passito
