Styles and Wine Composition:
  • Rosso (Rd, RdFr, RdSw, RdFrSw): Minimum 85% Croatina (locally Bonarda); maximum 15% Barbera, Uva Rara, and/or Vespolina

Significant Production Rules:
  • Minimum alcohol level: 9.0% for Rosso frizzante (11.0% potential); 12.0% for Rosso tranquillo
  • Aging: No minimum specified
