  • Rosso (Rd): Minimum 85% Barbera; maximum 15% Nebbiolo
  • Superiore (Rosso)

Significant Production Rules

  • Maximum vineyard elevation: 650 m (2,130 ft)
  • Minimum alcohol level: 12.0% for Rosso; 12.5% for Superiore
  • Aging: For Superiore, minimum 12 months, including 4 months in barrel (ERD = November 1, V+1)
