  • Bianco (Wh, WhFr, WhSw, WhFrSw): Any proportions of grape varieties approved for the region of Friuli–Venezia Giulia
  • Varietals for the province of Gorizia only (Wh, WhFr, WhSw, WhFrSw): Minimum 85% Chardonnay, Malvasia Istriana, Manzoni Bianco, Moscato Giallo, Pinot Bianco, Ribolla Gialla, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Verduzzo Friulano, or Welschriesling + OANWG
  • Varietals for the province of Pordenone only (Wh, WhFr, WhSw, WhFrSw): Minimum 85% Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Glera, Pinot Bianco, Ribolla Gialla, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Sciaglin, Ucelut, or Verduzzo + OANWG
  • Varietals for the province of Trieste only (Wh, WhFr, WhSw, WhFrSw): Minimum 85% Chardonnay, Malvasia, Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon Blanc, or Vitouska + OANWG

  • Zone of production: Entire region of Friuli–Venezia Giulia
  • Minimum alcohol level: 9.0% for all wines except 10.5% for all frizzante wines and 11.0% for Novello
