- Rosso (Rd): Minimum 85% Primitivo + OANRG
- Riserva (Rosso)
Significant Production Rules
- Minimum alcohol level: 13.5% for Rosso; 14.0% for Riserva
- Residual sugar: Maximum 18 g/l (1.8%)
- Aging: For Rosso, minimum approx. 5 months (ERD = March 31, V+1); for Riserva, minimum 24 months, including 9 months in barrel (ERD = March 31, V+2)
