Significant Production Rules

  • Grapes may be dried on or off the vine to achieve a minimum potential alcohol level of 13.0% (14.0% for Cialla and Cialla Riserva)
  • Minimum alcohol level: 15.0% (potential) for Bianco; 16.0% (potential) for Cialla and Cialla Riserva
  • Aging: For Bianco, minimum approx. 1 year (ERD = September 1, V+1); for Cialla, minimum approx. 2 years (ERD = September 1, V+2); for Cialla Riserva, minimum 4 years (ERD = November 1, V+4)
