Significant Production Rules
- Minimum alcohol level: 12.0% for Rosso; 12.5% for Superiore; 13.0% for Riserva
- Residual sugar: Maximum 17 g/l (1.7%) for Rosso
- Aging: For Superiore, minimum approx. 5–6 months (ERD = April 1, V+1); for Riserva, minimum 2 years, including 6 months in barrel (ERD = September 1, V+2)
