RED WINES
  • Rosso (Rd, RdFr): 25–65% Barbera; 25–65% Croatina; maximum 45% Uva Rara and/or Vespolina

Significant Production Rules:
  • Minimum alcohol level: 11.5% for Rosso frizzante (12.0% potential); 12.0% for Rosso tranquillo
  • Aging: Minimum approx. 6 months (ERD = April 30, V+1)
