Significant Production Rules:
  • Minimum alcohol level: 10.5% for Bombino Bianco tranquillo; 11.0% for Bianco, Bombino Bianco frizzante, Falanghina, Malvasia Bianca di Candia, Trebbiano Bianco, Rosato, Novello, and spumanti; 11.5% for rosato varietals, Rosso, and red varietals; 12.5% for Riserva
  • Residual sugar: Maximum 10 g/l (1.0%) for Novello
  • Aging: For Riserva, minimum 18 months (ERD = June 1, V+2)
