  • Rosato (RoFr): Minimum 85% Lambrusco (a Foglia Frastagliata, Barghi, di Sorbara, Grasparossa, Maestri, Marani, Montericco, Oliva, or Salamino); maximum 15% Ancellotta and/or Fortana
  • Lambrusco Rosato (RoFr): Minimum 85% Lambrusco; maximum 15% Ancellotta, Fortana, and/or Malbo Gentile

Significant Production Rules:
  • Minimum alcohol level: 10.5% for Bianco, Rosato, Lambrusco Rosato, Rosso, and Lambrusco; 11.0% for Novello and all Spumante wines
  • Residual sugar: All Spumante wines can be produced at any sweetness level, from brut nature (zero dosage) to dolce
  • Aging: No minimums specified
