WHITE WINES
  • Bianco (Wh, WhFr, WhSw, WhFrSw): Minimum 70% Trebbiano Romagnolo; maximum 30% Sauvignon Blanc and/or Malvasia; maximum 5% OAWG
  • Sauvignon (Wh, WhFr, WhSw, WhFrSw): Minimum 85% Sauvignon Blanc; maximum 15% Trebbiano
RED WINES
  • Fortana (Rd, RdFr, RdSw, RdFrSw): Minimum 85% Fortana + OANRG
  • Merlot (Rd): Minimum 85% Merlot + OANRG

Significant Production Rules

  • Minimum alcohol level: 10.5% for Bianco, Fortana, and Merlot; 11.0% for Sauvignon
  • Residual sugar: Maximum 15 g/l (1.5%) for secco (Bianco, Fortana, and Sauvignon); 12–35 g/l (1.2–3.5%) for abboccato (Bianco, Fortana, and Sauvignon); 30–50 g/l (3.0–5.0%) for amabile (Bianco, Fortana, and Sauvignon); maximum 75 g/l (7.5%) for dolce (Bianco and Fortana only)
